A small town. A serious board.
Bantry Chess Club started around a single table in the library in autumn 2024. Word travelled quickly and the room outgrew itself.
Today we gather every Sunday afternoon at Bridge Street Cafe, a warm room, good coffee, and a boardroom full of players of every age and level. We are West Cork champions and Irish Chess Union affiliated, but first and foremost we are a community.
A quiet afternoon. Everyone welcome.
